Tis The Season

Not all allergies result in a skin or respiratory response and symptoms and intensity will vary greatly with an activated immune system.
We can be or become hypersensitive to just about anything. This can range from pet dander to strawberries to mouse urine.
I have found that a detoxification process and an immune reset protocol is necessary.
This all has to do with releasing the burden on the body and resourcing the repair mechanisms of the immune system.
Let’s take seasonal allergies as our example. A detox protocol can help reduce sensitivity responses and while in the throws of an attack, we can try simple nutrients to adjust the cellular protective mechanisms.
To start, stop using your body as a trash can for crappy, food-like products.
This takes time, but in general, no cows-milk (except ghee or possibly high quality organic butter from grass- fed cows), ancient grains rather than hybridized wheat products, lots of water, organic coffee or teas, high-quality fats, organic as much as possible, purified water, and high-quality spices and salts.
Nutrients and methods to consider …
1. Raw, local honey… when we heat it, we kill it. (always helpful to know your bee-keeper).
Take Tblsp while symptoms peak
2. Vitamin C… it detoxes the liver and resources the immune cells.
3. N-acetyl-L-Cysteine… a detoxer that helps with glutathione production which helps protect the cell.
4.Red Beets… one my favorite liver and blood healers and purifiers.
5. Dandelion tea, greens, or flowers… another great liver and blood cleaner (watch if you have gal stones).
6. A little bit of salt and a glass of water (while symptoms peak)…
