About the Healer

I am Dr. Theresa Astrea, and since 2001, my mission has been to empower others by teaching them how their bodies work, offering holistic tools for healing, and guiding them toward the deeper truth: you are capable of healing yourself.

With a Doctorate in Chiropractic and a Master’s Degree in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine, my work blends structural health, functional physiology, clinical nutrition, and the wisdom that grows from lived experience.

My goal is to help you create a life of balance—one that supports your body, honors your mind, and nourishes every dimension of your health.

Credentials & Professional Background

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown (1997), followed by my Doctor of Chiropractic from Sherman College of Chiropractic (2001).

In 2016, I completed my Master of Science in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine at the University of Western States.

Across the decades, I’ve pursued training that reflects my commitment to whole-person healing. I became a certified personal trainer, craniosacral therapist, and life coach.

I joined the Institute for Functional Medicine in 2023. And since 2019, I have served as an instructor of college-level courses in Health and Wellness, Medical Terminology, Biology, and Anatomy & Physiology.

I continue to study because each layer of learning deepens my understanding of the human body—and strengthens my ability to guide others in healing theirs.

The Deeper Journey

Alongside the academic path, my truth-seeking nature pulled me into the more subtle realms of healing—where energy, consciousness, and physiology intersect.

I became a Reiki Master in 2004, was ordained through the Universal Life Church in 2008, and began practicing Kathara Bio-Regenesis in 2014. My studies later expanded into Quantum Astrology (2020), Spiritual Counseling (2023), and as a certification as a Shaman.

These experiences allow me to bring a multidimensional lens to healing—one that respects both the physical and the unseen, the measurable and the intuitive.

I became an unstoppable advocate for human biology, physiology, and truth.
