In my wisdom, I've learned to approach contrast with a quiet venom.

My personal health is where I've learned to exercise this most. I'm not a compliant patient and will need to remain sovereign in my choice to live my way or die my way.

This inner drive also provides me great opportunities in testing holistic therapies on myself.

Near the beginning of the pandemic, I was having heart palpitations and discomfort to a degree that caused this perimenopausal female, concern.

I made my way to the ER in what seemed to be the apocalypse and the first of many strange exchanges during that time period.

As I entered, I had to clarify that I was just there to get check for cardiac symptoms and not for viral infection.

Regardless of symptoms and history, the protocol was still to do a chest x-ray looking for patterns within the lung, which I understood and was grateful.

I ended up with an slightly abnormal EKG credited to low potassium and extremely high TSH. But the biggest finding was a spot on my left lung.

I actually had a few symptoms that in retrospect were related to the spot, but they were seemingly musculoskeletal and I, like most humans, tried musculoskeletal correction.

At my follow-up with my nurse practitioner at the time, she encouraged a CT scan while we did deeper blood work, but we didn't know how quickly the Ct scan could be ordered due to the state of the world.

So we modified a few things within diet and nutrient intake and within 6 weeks, my thyroid and metabolic profiles were normalized.

Since the Universe seemed to have delivered me time to work on my lungs until the world stabilized, I went to work on it myself.

Nine months later, I felt it was time to inspect the lung again and face whatever was lurking inside of me.

Although my medical practitioner still encouraged a CT as per protocol, she agreed to do it my way and just check x-ray again.

To my delight, the spot had vanished along with any symptoms.

Although I wasn't convinced that the spot was ever cancer (I truly just felt it was a pocket of infection), I treated it as if it were from a very holistic approach.

In the time between the two x-rays, I incorporated things that I knew would support immunity from multiple angles.

I incorporated prayer, meditation, brainwave entrainment music, quantum healing sessions, mushroom powder, high doses of vitamin A, and astragalus tincture, to name a few. I knew the tissue type involved, and the nutrients required to restore their form and support their function.

As a Master-Healer, I intimately understand that it was not one thing that helped me resolve an imperfect scenario. It was the synergy of all things combined. This includes the actual original issue, my genetics, and my current and individual health status and fitness.

Not everyone will have this result as the variables in human health are as infinite as our potential and this should never replace conventional medical care.

As our health care system is changing, I feel that there is no better time to become sovereign in regard to our health and work on wellness while using convention as needed and necessary.

Learning to use and trust tools that are right in front of us will serve us in the long run and making healing a daily devotion will make it so much easier to reach the goal-post.

I shared my story as I feel that sometimes a diagnosis, positive test, or prognosis can seem bleak and frightening. Going for repeated tests and working on strengthening my immune system was my way of having a more firm knowing that the momentum of my health was going in a positive direction.
