It’s spring time and even the planet cycles through a renewal after winter.
Spring and fall are great times to follow suit and support the cells of our body with nutrients for detoxification.
What I like to do for a spring detox is to roast red beets, radishes, and apples.
I add sautéed dandelions greens or dandelion flowers for added nutrient density. I can also make a tea from the flowers.
Dandelions are interestingly and amazingly nutrient dense and a delicacy in many countries.
I will coat my roasted roots in organic butter, coconut oil, or cold pressed olive oil.
Then I will spice them with tumeric, cayenne, black pepper, cilantro, & salt. Then I bake them at 350 for about 40 minutes.
This is a great adjunct to help the liver, gall bladder, and pancreas.
It helps purify the blood and may support cardiovascular health.
It will support heavy metal detoxification, reduce inflammation, support immune balancing.
